  2. A plant needs five things to survive A plant needs: • Water • Light • Warmth • Nutrients from the soil • carbon dioxide

  3. Plants will not grow without warmth • Pants need warmth to start growth. If a plant doesn’t have warmth it will not grow.

  4. Plants will not survive without light • A plant that doesn’t have light will grow tall and spindly in search of light and will die.

  5. A plant will die without water • If a plant doesn’t have water the stem will grow weak and the leaves will dry up.

  6. Healthy plants look pretty and smell good. • A healthy plant will have green leaves and a strong stem.
