  4. 2.3. Switching Kanal-kanal Trafik • BSC dihubungkan dengan TRAU dan BTSE melalui sistem PCM30BSC dihubungkan dengan Li (Link Interface) melalui sistem bus internal

  5. Interfase Link (Li Link Interface) Li diimplementasi oleh : DTLP (Dual Trunk Line Peripheral)Satu DTLP terdiri dari 2 Link PCM30 untuk link normal. Untuk alasan keamanan setiap link dapat diduplikasi (redudant Link)

  6. Interface Link ( Li Link Interface) • BSC mempunyai kapasitas maximum :# 9 DTLP aktif# 2 redudant DTLP

  7. Switching Network (SN) • Duplikasi SN men-switch kanal trafik individu (13 Kbit/s informasi dikodekan semua + 3 Kbit/s informasi pensinyalan TRAU - BTSE)

  8. 2.4. PENSINYALAN • Secara umum sebuah distnction terbuat dari dua 2 jalur sinyal yang masing-masing mempunyai protokol yang berbeda: • * MSC <---> BSC • * BSC internal

  9. Pensinyalan kanal trafik antara MSC dan BSC diatur oleh protokol pensinyalan n0. 7 CCITT • Kanal pensinyalan dilewatkan melalui TRAU transparently (bukan transcoding) dan dievaluasi dalam BSC Dalam SBS exchange informasi O&M dan sinyal kanal trafik dicompile dengan protokol LAPD. Time Slot untuk sinyal LAPD digunakan pada sub interfase bukan pada interfase.
