  4. Receive … do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you were bought with a price; therefore glorify God in your body. From Paul’s first letter to the Corinthians, chapter 6, verses 19 and 20

Engage In 1987 the General Assembly of the United Nations decided to observe 26th June as the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking as an expression of its determination to strengthen action and cooperation to achieve the goal of an international society free of drug abuse.

Activity suggestion … Design a poster that could be used in your classroom to remind people to keep safe.

  7. Respond [Reflect for a minute on the worship theme and our engagement …] Holy God, we pray for all people affected by drug abuse. May we find ways to stop illegal drugs from being produced and encourage each other to live healthy lives. Amen
