  4. Requirements An interest in the course! Taking a minimum of 5 Leaving Certificate Subjects Two subjects from the vocational subject groupings eg Biology and Physics and Chemistry A modern European Language - French Abinitio French - 1 class period of French over a two year period

Vocational Subject Groupings • Construction Studies, Engineering, Technology, Design and Communication Graphics (any two) • Physics and Construction Studies or Engineering or Technology • Agricultural Science and Construction Studies or Engineering or Technology • Agricultural Science and Chemistry or Physics or Phys/Chem • Home Economics, Agricultural Science, Biology (any two) • Home Economics and Art – Design or Craft option • Accounting or Business or Economics (any two) • Physics and Chemistry • Biology and Chemistry or Physics or Phys/Chem

Vocational Subject Groupings • Engineering or Technology and Business or Accounting or Economics • Construction Studies and Business or Accounting or Economics • Home Economics and Business or Accounting or Economics • Agricultural Science and Business or Accounting or Economics • Art Design or Craftwork option and Business or Accounting or Economics • Music and Business or Accounting or Economics

  7. Link Modules Assessment • The Link Modules are assessed by written examination and portfolio

  8. Link Modules Assessment Portfolio of Coursework • Core Items • CV • Career Investigation • Enterprise/Action Plan • Summary Report • Options - any two from:- • Diary of Work Experience • Enterprise Report • Recorded Interview/Presentation • Report on “My Own Place”

  9. Link Modules Assessment Written Examination • Section A - Audio Visual • Video sequence of an enterprise • Section B - Case Study • Received 4 weeks in advance • Section C - General Questions • Choice of 4 questions from 6
