ENGLAND FOOD • England has many foods such as fish and chips roast beef and bangers and mash, ploughman’s lunch and Yorkshire pudding. Bangers are sausages in England. (The reason sausages were nicknamed bangers is that during wartime they were so filled with water they often popped when they were fried.)

England sports • In England they play almost all sports like team sports such as football, cricket, rugby, polo. They also play many sports that don’t involve a team like tennis, snooker and darts.

Releigion in england The most popular religion is Christianity then followed by Islam and Hinduism. More than 70% are christians

Housing • On all the houses you see you should see triangular roofs. This is because it rains a lot and so when the rain falls on the roofs it drizzles off the roofs, into the gutter and then into the sewer. You will not get much use out of solar power as it is not very sunny there. The houses are all made of bricks but they are mostly not painted over.

Sports in qatar • There are three sports that the majority of Qatar plays which are; Football, horse riding and camel riding. But the most common is football.

Religion in qatar • The religion that covers Qatar is Islam, Christianity, Hinduism and Buddhism. But Islam covers most of the country. But the most is sunni Muslims.

Qatari food • The foods that people in qatar eat or the most common foods in qatar are; machboos, Tabeha, Hummus, biryani and dates.

Housing in qatar • There Flat roofs because there isn’t much rain. • The also have some portion of solar power on housing. • But we don’t use a lot of solar power because the sun will be only available for 12hrs as the sun goes down quicker than England. But it would be good with solar power.

Similarities and differences • Similarities • They both have Christianity and Islam. • For both countries football is the most common sport. • Differences • In Qatar they eat more meat and rice than in England. • Houses in England are built for for rainy weather but in Qatar its built for sunny weather.
