History • Blaw-Knox established the Road Institute in 1965 as the FIRST factory training program for asphalt placement. • To educate its distribution channel partners and the end users • Widely recognized throughout the asphalt industry as the premier training program serving the asphalt business • The name "Road Institute" and its corresponding logo has traditionally been viewed almost as its own brand • The training programs include application, operation and sales • Factory locations - Chambersburg, PA and Phoenix, AZ • Service and routine maintenance training programs have now been transferred to Volvo Customer Support Team (CST) Road Institute Overview
