What is PSP? • Professional Services Partner for HP BladeSystem • HP approved implementation partner for Blades • Trained by HP • Only PSP partners have direct access to HP Level II support • Bell Micro will install the HP software stack which will ensure that the E/U gets the full benefit of their solution • With time, failure to have an install done by an PSP will affect the level of support that an end user enjoys.

Why is this important to HP? • If the HP Software tool set is installed Dell, IBM etc find it harder to compete during equipment refresh • It improves HP’s customer experience (proactive instead of reactive support) • Blades are being installed incorrectly by the channel/end-users / contractors • Less than 20% of Blades have the software tools installed today

What can the HP Tools do? • Increased Serviceability provides strong customer value proposition: • Lower TCO • HW system monitoring & pre-diagnosis by HP automation, not IT staff while customer stays in full control • "no need to walk around IT room to check for red lights or to review every alert“ • Service calls are placed automatically and only if intervention required - eliminates identification, notification and logging process for customer "no need to call HP, HP calls you” • One solution to HW-monitor IT environment, MV-capable, reduce complexity and the need to have multiple tools, works globally

What can the HP Tools do? • Increased Serviceability provides strong customer value proposition: • Higher availability • Faster repair because of detailed, machine-generated trouble-ticket – over 25% reduced E2E time-to-resolve* • Anticipates failure events based on leveraged expert knowledge to enable correction before they impact availability

  6. Bell Micro’s commitment to HP • We have signed a contract with HP to sell this joint service • HP have trained our consultants to install the software tools etc • We will sell and deliver HP’s Care Pack Installation services

  7. Action Required • Please make sure you mention this to your customers • Ensure that Care Pack Installation services are attached to every blade quote and are then followed with an explanation of our PSP accreditation and why they should use us
