  1. The Technological Incubator is a facility owned by the Social and Business Initiative Association in Białogard; it was established in May 1995 on the initiative of local governments. The Technological Incubator is a 7.300 m2 building providing industrial space, plant/machinery and technological resources as required by entrepreneurs.

  2. The idea to establish the Technological Incubator emerged in 2006. This originated from the ever-growing demand for premises among the entrepreneurs and from absence of modern technological infrastructure.Already in August 2008 an English company named Valassis Sp. z o.o. started it’s business at the Incubator; this is an IT company. Then, 7 companies more (including a Danish capital company) started their business activities there. Currently, more than 200 persons are employed at the Incubator.

  3. To build the Incubator and provide technological outfit the Association raised funds from the European Union, Polish Government and local governments. The project started in 2007 and was completed in 2008. The premises construction and outfitting cost was PLN 14 million.

  4. The Incubator provides not just the functional premises but also modern process lines for powder painting and a spray-painting chamber. These are very expensive processes, not affordable for the majority of small and medium-sized companies yet they are very important for provision of high quality product.

  5. The tenants can use also a modern video-conference centre.

  6. In 2009 the Technological Incubator in Białogard was awarded with a prestigious prize in the 2009 Investment category. The prize was awarded by the Main Technical Organisation, an organisation of Polish engineers and technicians with 170-year tradition. A technological partner of Białogard Incubator is the Technical University of Koszalin, the biggest technical school in the Middle Pomerania.

  7. ADDITIONALSUPPORT FOR ENTREPRENEURS • TRAINING AND ADVISORY CENTRE • The TRAINING AND ADVISORY CENTRE provides training and advisory activity for the unemployed and entrepreneurs regarding: • Marketing, management, finances, commercial law, IT and data communication as well as powder/spray painting processes; • Assistance in workforce recruitment and training.

  8. PROMOTION OFFICE • Promotion of regional companies and their products; • Integration of local companies through arrangement of „business breakfasts” and „businesswomen meetings; • Organisationof meetings with international businessmen through arrangement of common business trips to any international fair events.

  9. PROMOTION OFFICE • TheXthRegional Commercial fair in Białogard This will be the most extensive commercial presentation of the Koszalin region 18-19.09.2010

Investor Service Regional Office • To facilitate commencement of business operations in the Technological Incubator by a person coming from the European Union territory the Investor Service Regional Office was established. The Office workers cooperate with specialists in industrial building, commercial law and finances. The Office workers ensure effective commencement of business activity in the region and its safe development.
