1. Lesson 16 Robust Vocabulary • What would be more charming, a monkey that pops out of a box when music is played or a squawking goose? • Which would be considered a racket, a bunch of kids at a birthday party or a colony of ants moving from one ant hill to another? • When would you be delighted? If you found out the weekend would be spent helping your parents clean up the yard. Or, if you learned that you won a prize. • Visiting my great grandfather was usually accompanied by awkwardness because his embrace included pinches all over.

2.
