Founded in 2007 by Iowa State students Chegg is the leading student-first connected learning platform, empowering students to take control of their education to save time, save money and get smarter Our platform offers products and services that students need throughout the college lifecycle, from choosing a college through graduation and beyond Publicly traded on the NYSE since Nov. 2013

  3. In 2012, Chegg began partnering with the Michael and Susan Dell Foundation to power their annual Dell Scholars book scholarships.

Textbook Credit • Credits are used to supplement financial aid • Textbook credit disbursements began in 2005 • First partner was Powell’s Books • Each student is given a unique code to activate a credit on bookstore site • Disbursed annually if student has completed renewal/check-in requirements • An extra incentive for data collection

  13. Data Review In H1 2014, Dell students took advantage of both the option to buy and rent physical books and eTextbooks for their courses.

  14. Reporting Data we can report back to you - • Amount of Chegg Credit used by each student • # of books rented/purchased by each student • % of books rented vs. purchased • Use of digital books Data sent on a timetable that works best for you (quarterly, semester, yearly)
