InterAction Collaboration Business Meeting

MOU Status with Fermilab • Fermilab told in January that DOE would not approve InterAction Collaboration MOU • Alternate option explored with Fermilab’s contracting entity – not successful • April 1 – Informed that DOE has “changed its mind” about common funds. Altering MOU for re-submission • No estimated date for new decision November 19, 2012

  15. My recommendation • Continue to pursue MOU with DOE to keep financial operations at Fermilab • At the same time, explore options for other institutions to host the InterAction common fund • Contributions for IHEP Beijing (and possibly INFN) held up until new MOU is signed November 19, 2012
