  2. Getting Print Ready Magazine name: Create a title for your magazine that embodies you! What type of magazine would you be on the cover of? Look and Feel – select 3 colors to work with. Brag Tag – Turn your strengths into two snazzy article titles. Keep it short and catchy! 1) 2) Tips Tag – Write 3 catchy titles about the things you will be improving this year! 1) 2) 3)

  3. Steps to designing your Magazine Select a photo that will be your cover. Crop or erase parts of photo. Insert photo onto PowerPoint template. Select font for title of magazine, play with size, color location. Add 5 text boxes and type in your titles. Design the look and feel of your text boxes, shapes and more! Add magazine title to additional pages template. Print and begin writing articles. Expectations for writing articles For Brag Tag articles: Explain how you have become good at something and the steps that others could follow to achieve this success. This should be a thoughtful reflection of the WHY and the HOW. Neatness is an expectation and will require redoing if not satisfactory! For Tips Articles – Write about why you need to improve this skill. How is it holding you back from being successful? What steps do you need to take to reach this goal? If necessary interview someone who is successful at this skill or task to get advice. *** It is an AIM expectation that all punctuation, spelling etc., is properly applied.
