OCW in the US — MIT internal metrics • 71% of students • 59% of faculty • 41% of alumni • 35% of freshmen who were aware of the site before deciding to come to MIT say it was a significant influence “OCW was one of the main reasons why I decided to come here and not another university--it provided a good understanding of what I was going to get ... that's the reason why I ended [up] here, and not in Stanford or Columbia.” (MIT Graduate Student) “When I have trouble understanding the material for a course or test, OCW is the best place to find added resources.
