Lab Rescue of the LCRP As many families have come to realize by now, Labrador Retrievers, are by far one of the most loving and rewarding dog breeds to own. Due to their loyal nature, they will always want to be by their family’s side and please them the best they can by just being themselves. This can vary from a personality that is laid back and goofy, to one that is attentive and obedient. Unfortunately, like many dog breeds, Labradors have been known to end up in shelters and often meet euthanization. That is why many dog rescues have begun to sprout up around the country in order to end this trend. Therefore, the web site chosen for the re-design project will be the Lab Rescue of the LCRP, a site based on a local non-profit animal rescue organization that specializes in providing care to dog breeds; particularly, Labrador Retrievers. The purpose of the LCRP organization is to provide Labrador Retrievers – who have been abandoned, abused, or simply homeless – with loving foster homes and families willing to take care of them until they are ready to be adopted by another family. During the dog’s time in the foster home, the foster family can provide a synapsis of their retrievers and evaluate the dogs in the areas of their health, sociality, and training; this way the organization can use this information to help find these retrievers a new home. The organization also handles the matter of educating families who are looking to adopt a Labrador for the first time by providing them with the fundamentals and facts that they will need to welcome and raise their new dog. For those who are unable to provide a home for labs but still want to contribute to the cause of helping these animals, the LCRP offers a selection of options that can range from donations to volunteering at local animal shelters. The site also contains many outgoing links to other lab rescue sites, providing more selections of labs and more chances to aid in the organizations cause.
Mad Creator Productions There are few who desire the creepy and surreal over what is considered normal, those who long to be entertained by images that range from the whimsical to the controversial while at the same time express the level of creativity that only a professional artist can; for those individuals, they need look no further than the twisted, wondrous world of Gris Grimly. For nearly thirteen years his books have both disturbed and delighted the minds and hearts of both children and adults, with his warped renditions of fairy tales, nursery rhymes, and cartoon characters. But to truly admire and understand the creative mind of Gris Grimly, they must simply gaze upon his professional works of art, each based upon his views of politics, disease, history, and culture, to discover a side of this world that many of us have come to forget or ignore. The website, that shall be chosen to for re- design and come to represent this artist of the macabre, will be Mad Creator Productions, ironically a site that was created and founded by the artist himself. The purpose of this site is to provide information about the artist and his work, which will be displayed within a gallery that will be organized based upon what medium was used to create the piece. The store will feature a selection of books that he has, or has had a part in making, each one filled with whimsical, ghoulish images that will delight any fan of the macabre. And for those who want to be kept up to date on the current events and artwork of Gris Grimly, his site will provide a calendar to keep them up to date with his tours and guest appearances in cities around the United States; there will also be a blog where fans of his work can share their thoughts and opinions on his latest pieces.

Lab web re-design: Text color This will serve as the texts color scheme for links and important facts located within the page. The first four will serve as interactive links with the darker colors signifying a link that has not been clicked upon, and the lighter color indicating a link that has already been clicked. The last color will indicate an important piece of information within the page.
