  4. Aims • Educational fellowship • Incorporate simulation • 6 high risk areas

  5. Project streams • Recognition of the deteriorating patient • Medication errors • Handover • Venous thromboembolism prophylaxis • Interpretation of CTGs in childbirth • Cost-effectiveness of clinical simulation

  6. Common themes • Protected time • Working outside normal sphere of practice • Often engaging the unengaged • Changing behaviour vs acquisition of new knowledge/skills
