  2. About Pediatric Angels • “Dedicated to providing assistance to families in need of financial or material support for the care of a sick or disabled child.” • Pays for life-saving operations not covered by insurance • Provides medical supplies • Providing a Youth Mentoring Program

  3. Your role • We will assist in providing support to families during the Christmas time by establishing a toy drive. With our proceeds, we will take children to go shopping for a toy. • Assist at the local children’s therapy center • Visit homes of sick children & play with them • Dress up as Santa & elves when visiting children • Fundraising for two days in order to have money to buy the children presents **Specific activities may vary depending on the specific needs of the organization at time of arrival.**

  4. Trip Details • Located in Mendham NJ(near Jersey City) • 760 miles away. About 13 hours. • Leaving from UIC: Dec 15th • Returning to UIC: Dec 21st • Sleeping arrangements are made at Trinity Methodist Church. • We will be taking a trip to a local grocery store to get food for the week. A kitchen will be provide at the Church.

  5. What to bring • Sleeping bags and pillows to sleep at the Church • Warm clothes! We are going house to house & fundraising outside. • Bring “green” clothes so that we can dress up as elves and surprise the children when we deliver presents to their doorstep.

  6. Free day!!!!!!! • On our free day, we will visit times square in NEW YORK CITY and enjoy the holiday sightseeing! • Give back to the church for graciously hosting ASB for the week. Includes: card, cleaning etc. • Ideas are open for discussion. If anyone has any great ideas….please suggest them!
