FAST • Information for Hub Leaders • two full days training on Thursday 26th and Friday 27th April (lunch will be provided) in the Rainbow room • All partners (social, community and parent) will be involved in training • You will be given detailed information during the training • You will NOT lead your hub (hopefully the parent partner will do this) • FAST will run on Thursdays from 10th May – 5th July 3.30 – 5.45pm • There will be a maximum of 10 families in your hub • A crèche will be available for the pre-school children during the time when the other children go off to take part in an activity • My room is available if anyone would rather use that • Each hub will be given your a hub resource box that must stay in your hub. You will not be expected to use anything from your class.

  4. FAST FAST Week-by-Week Week 1: first night of FAST Family sessions (flag/shield activity) trainer visits the site and conducts a meeting with team the following morning. Week 2: second night of FAST Week 3: third night of FAST trainer visits the site and conducts a meeting with team the following morning. Week 4: fourth night of FAST Week 5: fifth night of FAST –Special Presentation Week 6: sixth night of FAST – start Graduation planning Week 7: seventh night of FAST –continue Graduation planning Start planning FASTWORKS and a strategy to collect post-test surveys from families. Post-tests must be completed within two weeks after the graduation night. Week 8: eight night of FAST - Graduation trainer visits the site 6-8 weeks later: Phase lll training The team and trainer meet for he day Phase lll training.
