  3. Skeleton: Giraffes vs Humans Humans and giraffes have the same number of bones in their necks. Giraffe’s vertebrae are just bigger! 7 vertebrae 7 vertebrae

  4. Skeleton: Owls vs. Humans Owls have fourteen vertebrae bones in their neck which is twice as many as humans. This gives their neck greater flexibility so they can turn it around to 270 degrees. They have to do this because, unlike us, they cannot move their eyeballs at all in any direction.
