  4. Coelom • Body cavity lined with mesoderm • Very small

  5. Digestive Tract • Complete with mouth, anus and stomach

  6. Cephalization Mollusca have a concentrated nervous system

  7. Segmentation • Foot- bottom layer • Visceral mass- middle part that holds organs • Mantle- outer top layer

  8. Skeleton and Appendages • Exoskeleton • Appendages vary: antennae, legs, tentacles

  9. Circulatory system • Open circulatory system in which the blood travels through the gills to the heart

  10. Respiratory system • Oxygenates through gills with direct contact to water

  11. Reproduction Occurs sexually with separate sexes and external fertilization

  12. Habitat • Sea • Freshwater • Terrestrial environment (land)
