  21. SCHOOL HEALTH AND SAFETY COMMISSION (SHSC) Everyschool has tocreate a commissionresponsibleforhealthandsafetyissues in theschools. Thiscommissionshouldconsist of themanager, departmentchiefs, a teacherfromeachdepartment, a studentrepresentativeand a parentrepresentative.

  22. DUTIES OF SHSC • Coordinating health and safety activities in the school. • Identify deficiencies and resolve these problems. • Taking emergency precautions. • Organizing education activities and seminars about health and safety.

  23. Create activities ( painting, banner competitions etc…) that will take students’ attention to the safety issue. • Provide needed personal safety equipments. • Prepare and control safety signs. • Educate school staff and students about first aid rules.
