    3. Introduction Potters are to follow - the potting steps in sequence - all safety instructions . Safety is everyones responsibility

    4. Objective Main Objective in potting: Hold specimens securely in proper jigs and fixtures for biomechanical testing.

    5. Requirements Before the start of the any job, it is a good practice with a checklist to ensure all essential tools are available and in good conditions

    6. Requirements Dental cement solution and powder Paper cups wood stirrers Jigs and fixtures to contain the specimen Set of screws (self-tapping) Specimens Screws drivers Hand drill and drill bits Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Masking Tape Paper

    7. Procedures Thaw the specimens Remove soft tissues from site of the bone that requires screw and dental cement attachment.

    8. Procedures 3. Attach screws in a way that properly holds the specimens and prevents slipping during the testing process.

    12. Procedures 5. Clear jig off oil, grease and other containment. Ensure: >=3 bolts are in placed specimen in place

    14. Procedures 7. Specimen should be potted in a stable position and on a level ground. 8. Any mixing of chemicals should be carried out in the fume hood. Proportion of mixture 1 portion of fluid : 2 Portion of powder
