  1. Designed for: Apps for good and the App Market Designed by: Andrew Martin and Reece Harris On: Day Month Year The Business Model Canvas Iteration: No. Key partners Key Activities Value Propositions Customer Relationships Customer Segments We give customers a free app that allows them to learn and explore Natural England. We want to make people more aware of the environment, and what they can do. We are solving the problem for beginners with the environment. We want to make people aware of what they can do in England. We aim our app at anyone who is a beginner and wants to learn more but also to those who want to discover. Our most important customers are those who are beginners. We want to help them learn more about the environment. We are targeting the mass market because we want anyone who loves nature to get this app. Our key partner is Natural England. They have provided the information we needed on their website. This will allow us to get the locations of different parks and plot them on a park finder map that we are planning to create. Our key supplier is Appshed. We will build a basic start to the app using Appshed and then later develop the app using a programming language. Our relationship with our customers will include interacting with them through the app to allow them to rate it and suggest improvements. We plan to make the app free as we think it should be free for people to discover Natural England. We aim to make the app on as many platforms as possible but specifically android and IOS. We have a strong relationship with our customers and we plan to always seek feedback from them. We will allow customers to rate the app, write reviews and also offersuggestions to help improve our app. Channels Key Resources We want to reach our customers by doing some simple advertising in appropriate places. For example in farm shops people might be interested in the natural Environment. The only resources we will need is the team to develop the app and a program to help develop it. We may also need testers to see if there are any bugs in the app. Cost Structure Revenue Streams We plan to make our app free. However, because the app is free and will take a long time to make it we may plan to have adverts running along some of the app so that we will make a bit of revenue. There are no costs in making the app which is another reason to why we plan to make it free. We believe our app is more value driven. We are focused on giving our customers the best experience using our app that we can.
