: ACTION POINTS– ACTTION POINTS • Every individual member and indeed every chapter must regularly do a reality check on their performance in the area of practical evangelism. • Our performance must be observed through the lenses of simple, practical methods we are to use to help people “to see Jesus.”
WHAT WE ARE TO DO: • GO TO WHERE THE FISHES ARE – they won’t swim to you • BE NATURAL AND FRIENDLY – not overbearing and familiar • ASK QUESTIONS – otherwise you will be making assumptions • LISTEN CAREFULLY – or your words will be wasted • STAND ALONGSIDE THE PERSON – never condescend
WHAT WE ARE TO DO: • GIVE BIBLICAL ANSWERS – not your own • IF YOU DON’T KNOW THE ANSWER – admit it • STICK TO SIMPLE TRUTHS – save the complexities for later • FOCUS ON LEADING THE PERSON TO CHRIST – nothing else matters • WIN PEOPLE’S CONFIDENCE – that’s half the job done
John 13:17 Thank You
