  2. Rule 1- Steady Hands • Seems simple, but steady hands prevents blurry pictures. No one wants a blurry picture. • Exhibit A 

  3. Make sure your subject matter takes up the frame. Close-ups are flattering. Rule 2 – Fill the Frame!

  4. Rule 3 – Rule of Thirds • Always break up the picture in 3rds.

  5. Rule 4 – Level Horizon • Make sure you have a nice horizontal line. • Adjust according to subject matter.

  6. Rule 5 – Good Light • Shed some light on your subject! • Good Bad

  7. Rule 6 – Point of View • Your frame of reference can change the feeling of a picture.

  8. Rule 7 – Line it up • Lines can be used to draw attention to the subject.
