Steps Needed in High School • Always be in school and on time • Pay attention to what I’m been thought • Analyze problems and find solutions to that problems • Join the clubs that has something to do with surgeries and also help you to be a critical thinker • Take all English classes, Math classes, and Science classes.

Degrees, Certificates, or Licenses needed in order to be a Surgeon • High School Graduate • 3-4 years of college, majoring in Pre-Med or Biology • 4 years of Medical School • 3 year internship and a 5 year residency • Voluntary Certifications • Doctorate Degree, and Bachelors degree • You have to pass the final exam to receive your license and be recognized by the United States

Duties and Responsibilities • Perform surgery on the injured, repair organs that are in the wrong place or have been infected by diseases, and be able to improve body functions in patients • Analyzing a patients medical background • Examine patients to gather necessary information on their medical condition and surgical risks • Conducting research to come up with a surgical techniques to improve the qualities of the surgeries • Prescribe prescriptions for patients

Career Fitting to my Lifestyle • Have to prepare myself to work for many hours because some surgeries can last for so many hours • Sometimes have the weekend off • The salary can help me support the needy and also support my family • Always be there with my family when they need me • Also having fun with the family

Interest in this career • I will be able to help the sick and save their lives • I care about people and I don’t want people to suffer in their lives • I will earn enough money to help the needy • You get to be around people that are smart and always help you come up with new ways to attack the surgery
