  3. Education Needed • -15 years of education • -4 years of college with a bachelors in pre-med. • -4 years of med school. • -7 years of surgical residency

  4. Job Oppertunities • -According to data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics, there will be a 22 percent growth in employment for this career over the 2008 to 2018 decade

Duties and Tools -Although purpose of pediatric surgery depends on the procedure, its general purpose is to correct any disease, traumatic injury, congenital condition, and other disorders of pediatric patients through surgery. Their key responsibilities include diagnosis, prevention, operative, and management care that children in need of surgical attention require
