  4. geography Cuba is an island nation in the Caribbean sea. It’s one of the seven largest Caribbean island it located between Bahamas Jamaica. The climate in Cuba is typically tropically. The dry season last from November to April. The shape of the land in Cuba is huge mountains that cover one third of the total land area and the rest are bodies of water river and flat.

  5. The president & government The president Raul Castro The Cuba's government controls all the aspects of the life through communist party and its affiliated mass organizations, the government bureaucracy and the state security department

  6. Economy The Cuban make there money on tourism. There recourses are sugar, nickel, tobacco, shellfish, medical, products, citrus and coffee. The currency in Cuba is peso. In Cuba the receive low housing and transportation costs free education, and health care food subsidies. Corruption is common though far lower than in most other countries in Latin America.

  7. Culture In Cuba there music include instruments and dancing. The traditional music the European and African origin.one of the holidays that are celebrated in Cuba and that is important is the liberation day. This day is the victory of the Cuban war. Since Cuba is a country mix of African and Latin its mostly Caribbean food. The staple eaten in Cuba are beef, pork, chicken, and fish as a sources of protein. Food in Cuba usually consists of a mixture of rice and beans with potatoes used only rarely.

  8. History of Cuba In 1492 Christopher Columbus landed on the island and claim the island which is now Cuba. When Columbus arrived to Cuba became a Spanish colony and it was ruled by a Spanish governor in Havana. In 1762 great Britain was take up by Cuba. In 1898 Cuba gained in independence from the u.s. The Cuba war of independence was from 1895-1898. that’s was the three liberation wars that Cuba fought against Spain. The biggest war that Cuba had was ten years from 1868-1878. The little war they had was 1879-1880 that last about three months which was the Spanish-American war it became one of the serious conflict. In 1953-1959 was the years the Cuban revolution occurred. The Cuban revolution was an armed revolt by Fidel Caste's. the Batista was finally remove on January 1 1959 and was replaced by a revolutionary government led by Castro. This government later on made changes to improve things.

  9. My point • I enjoy doing the project because am learning about other countries and there cultures. I am also learning about other countries background. Now that I learned about Cuba I find it as a very interesting country and a country that I wood like to visit one day in the future.
