PMX 500 – PGP expression

This study evaluates the expression of P-glycoprotein (PGP) in CCRF-CEM and Vincristine-resistant (VinR) cell lines using flow cytometry. The mean fluorescence intensity of PGP in CCRF-CEM VinR cells at a concentration of 1 mg/ml was noted as 15.3, contrasting with the 2.5 observed in non-resistant CCRF-CEM cells. Additional measurements in HT29 and WI38 cells showed mean fluorescence values of 1.6 and 2.2, respectively. Secondary antibody controls confirmed specificity, indicating significant PGP expression in resistant cells.
