  3. CITRA SATELIT : LANDSAT LANDSAT merupakan program observasi bumi yan tertua, dimulai pada tahun 1972 dgn nama ERTS-1 (Earth ResourcesTecnology Satelite). Kesuksesan ERTS-1 , dilanjutkan dgn peluncuran seri kedua akan tetapi dgn nama LANDSAT (Land Satellite) yang membawa sensor MSS (Multispectral Scanner) Setelah thn 1982, sensor MSS diganti dgn sensor TM (Thematic Mapper) , dan pada thn 1999 diluncurkan LANDSAT -7 yang membawa sensor ETM+ (Enhance Thematic Mapper )

  5. CITRA SATELIT : QUICKBIRD Awal peluncuran Satelit Quickbird pada tgl 18 Okt 2001 dari California Amerika Serikat, dengan menggunakan Roket Boeing Delta-II Dioperasikan pada ketinggian rendah
