The South Sacramento County Streams Group, led by Project Manager Marshall Marik, presents an update on the Morrison Creek construction along the Union Pacific Railroad. As of January 17, 2013, the project is substantially complete, with the exception of final grading and the patrol road. This advancement marks a significant step towards enhancing the local waterways and addressing environmental concerns in the region. SOUTH SACRAMENTO COUNTY STREAMS GROUP UPDATE
Morrison Creek Construction Along Union Pacific Railroad Substantially complete except for the patrol road and final grading. Coordinating with State, SAFCA and City of Sacramento to provide information necessary for FEMA Letter of Map Revision.
Florin Creek Completed review of 35% plans. Design scheduled to be completed in October 2013. Schedule dependent upon resolving conflicts with utilities and obtaining real estate rights for construction. Construction scheduled to start in May 2014.
