  1. Hair and Skin By Chantelle Abela

  2. Hair • Hair is all over the body but I am going to talk about the hair on our head: the one we take care of a lot during this time. • First, there are a lot of different colours of hair. This happens because of the pigments inside the body. Grey hair doesn’t have any pigments

  3. There are different types of hair too: Oily hair : looks good for a while then becomes lifeless Dry hair : Looks dull and lifeless Combination hair : Greasy and dry hair Normal hair : Shiny but not greasy

  4. What damages hair? • Heat-styling frequently • The sun especially on light coloured hair • Chlorine from the pool • A lot of salt from the sea • Brushing a lot

  5. Good Products • For smooth hair use conditioner and leave on the hair for about three minutes and then rinse. • To get super shiny looks message your head with a moisturizing shampoo.

  6. Instead of using heat to curl your hair use rollers but don’t use metal or Velcro rollers. They break your hair. • Don’t try to do celebrities hairstyles, they have a professional hairdresser. Don’t try this at home, too tight Braids can cause your hair to break off.

  7. Hair with skin • Hair can damage the skin. • If you have oily hair, try not to let it on your face for a long time because the excess oil goes on your face and you’ll get a lot of acne.

  8. Cleaning your Skin • To keep your skin healthy you have to wash it regularly. • To wash it properly use water and a good soap or cleanser. • If you have any cuts, don’t forget to cover them so to keep infections out. • Don’t forget to take care of the skin you’re in!

  9. Acne • To have great skin you have to take care of your acne. • There are a lot of medication and herbal products you can use: you can even make some yourself. • You can use cleansers • But sometimes you have to ask yourself what you’re doing wrong to see why you have acne - are you eating well? are you drinking enough water?

  10. Dry Skin • Dry skin is flaky and does not look good. • Moisturizers are good for dry skin. • Dry skin can be caused by winter months, a poor diet and lack of vitamins. • You can use baby oil to make it softer as it moisturizes the skin.

  11. Oily Skin • Oily skin has the pores more open which mean more dirt, acne and blackheads are possible. • To prevent these things use make up removers, cleansers and facial toners to keep your face clean.

  12. Thankyou
