An important aspect of a well-rounded personality, a means of achieving greater self-respect and of moving closer to and expanding our overall potential. 3. A condition of being negligent of one's health; not being able to perform everyday task without becoming fatigue. (POOR CONDITION) 4. Not very fit, overweight and out-of-shape; teens are in rather poor condition and many have a negative attitude towards physical fitness.

HBP - (high blood pressure) major cause of heart and circulatory problems, occurs in all people, caused by stresses of home life, schoolwork, and the pressures from friends

Stress and Tension - strain on heart/circulatory system, stress can cause unusual fear, anger, doubt, which have a negative effect on body; early teen years may be the most difficult time in the lives of many people. f. high cholesterol levels - related to cardiovascular problems - high fat diets; fast food restaurants g. sex of individual - males have higher rate of heart disease; women's rate increases because more working, smoking women also increases

Develop Muscle Strength and Endurance - males: stronger for looks and athletics - females: looks (firm, well-toned bodies) improves appearance 18. Improved Body Image - the way you see yourself; improves the way you see yourself and feel about yourself
