FSIO Test Update • The Increment Test that was targeted for late 2008 / early 2009 has been cancelled by FSIO • FSIO is now targeting a full test in the 2010 timeframe will incorporate • Business Process Standardization • Funds Control, Payable, Receivables, Reimbursables, Reporting • Common Government Accounting Classification (GAGC) Structure • Financial Information Reporting Standardization (FIRST) • Updated Core Financial System Requirements • Draft to be completed by end of CY 2008 • Final to be complete by July 2009 * Dates are preliminary

Status of R12 Certification • An application for R12 Certification was submitted to FSIO in December 2007 • After a review of the application and related R12 documentation, FSIO has requested a demonstration of various R12 functionality • A demonstration is targeted to be conducted for FSIO in late May or early June

Reimbursable Agreement Enhancements targeted for 12.1 • Integration of SLA with Projects to create accounting entries • Project budgets can be interfaced to the Federal Financials Budget Execution module, or a client extension is available to interface them to a 3rd party system. • Prepayment cash receipts entered in Oracle Receivables can be applied and tracked against reimbursable agreements in Projects. • New funds consumption controls for billing -- billing sequences, expiration date, and funds remaining. • New data elements can be entered on Agreements -- customer order number, line of accounting, 15 descriptive flexfields, advances required, and billing sequence.

Reimbursable Agreement Enhancements Targeted for 12.2 • Reimbursable Agreement Form – Provides the ability to enter reimbursable agreement documents including a header, multiple document lines and multiple accounting lines within documents lines with full accounting integration. Downstream processes will be enhance to accommodate new reimbursable agreement. • Reimbursable agreement activity report - Provides a list of reimbursable agreement accounting activity (i.e., commitment, obligation, advances expenditures) • Reimbursable agreements query - Displays reimbursable agreement and related amounts (i.e., obligations, expenditures, advances, receivables, collections).

  19. CCR Enhancements • Enhance CCR extract process to accommodate new BPN extract (targeted for 11i10 and R12). The old extract will no longer be valid after calendar year 2008 Targeted for 11i10 and R12. • Invoices that are held due to a registration status of expired will automatically be released when the CCR registration status changes from expired to active.

Delinquency Processing • Define Finance Charge form will be modified to better accommodate: • Compound interest • Accrue finance charges on previously assessed charges • An option to enable the user to assess administrative charges per invoice rather than per installment will to be made available. • The finance charge CCID will allow use of revenue accounting of Invoice CCID or that of the debit memo transaction type CCID. • Assigning debt eligible for referral to cross servicing before 180 days • Accrue Finance Charge Detail Report will be modified to reflect changes • A Receivable Inquiry will be implemented to associate the original invoice with the finance charge invoices and collections against the invoice, enabling the user to easy accessibility to the status of customer invoices.
