  1. IN OTHER NEWS … AFTER SCHOOL BELLS HEARD AT OHS!

  2. ? WHY … Teachers need to be serving students after school. School is in session until 3:30. Socialization needs to take place off campus so everyone has an opportunity to take advantage of extended learning. ?

FIRST BELL ENDS CLASS AT 2:50 STUDENTS HAVE 5 MINUTES PASSING TIME AND TEACHERS WILL IMMEDIATELY BE OUT IN THEIR OWN HALL HELPING AND DIRECTING (students will not receive help from teachers between 2:50-3:00 – if you need a teacher, wait in their classroom BEFORE 2:55, not the hallway, until they return at 3:00)

  4. SECOND BELL AT 2:55 MEANS SHOULD BE IN A CLASS OR ALREADY LEFT BUILDING STUDENTS WILL ALREADY BE IN A CLASSROOM OR GONE; TEACHERS WILL BEGIN MOVING THROUGH HALLS TO HELP CLEAR BUILDING (ANY STUDENT NOT IN CLASS WILL BE TOLD TO LEAVE BUILDING, SO MAKE SURE YOU GET TO WHERE YOU WANT TO BE WITHIN THE 5 MINUTE PASSING TIME!)

  5. THIRD BELL AT 3:00 MEANS EVERYONE IS OUT OF THE HALLS AND TEACHERS BACK IN THEIR ROOMS HELPING STUDENTS

  6. IMPORTANT: EVEN IF WAITING FOR A RIDE OR IN BAD WEATHER, THERE WILL BE NO WAITING INSIDE THE BUILDING, SO PLAN AHEAD! (If necessary, you may wait in a classroom with teacher permission)

  7. DO NOT WAIT OR HANG OUT IN BATHROOMS OR IN DOORWAYS

  8. DO NOT LET OTHERS BACK IN LOCKED DOORS

  9. PLAN TO HAVE ALL YOUR THINGS AND BE OUT OF THE BUILDING BY 2:55 • (This means you’ll have to move as quickly as you do during regular passing time – this includes all CLUBS AND SPORTS MEMBERS!)
