Since 1946, Carver Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) has been dedicated to protecting and managing local natural resources. Our team, including board members and staff, works tirelessly on various projects such as shoreline restoration in Chaska, curb-cut rain gardens, and wetland restoration. We also host educational initiatives like Minnesota’s first Junior Envirothon. With successful programs like the Conservation Reserve Program and the 2,000,000th acre celebration of the Wetland Reserve Program, we aim to foster sustainable practices for a healthier environment.
