  2. Conjugating • Conjugation of verbs are straightforward. However there are a handful of verbs that are irregular. Some are defined patterns, while others are simply unique irregulars. • A simple conjugation of Beber would be… Yo: bebo Nosotros: Bebemos Tú: bebes El/Ella/Usted bebe: bebe Ellos/Ellas/Ustedes: beben

  3. Yo-Go verbs • Some verbs only change in the Yo form • These are some of those verbs… Traer, Hacer, Caer, Decir, Poner, Salir, Tener, Valer, and Venir. • Traer(tobring): Yo Traigo • Hacer(to do): Yo Hago • Caer(tofall): Yo Caigo • Decir(totell): Yo Digo • Poner(toput): Yo Pongo • Salir(togoout): Yo Salgo • Tener(tohave): Yo tengo • Valer(tocost): Yo Valgo • Venir(to come): Yo Vengo

C -> ZC Verbs • Other verbs change from a C to a ZC. • These are those verbs… conocer, crecer, obedecer, conducir, traducir, merecer, producir. • Conocer(toknow): Yo Conozco • Crecer(togrow): Yo Crezco • Conducir(to drive): Yo Conduzco • Traducir(totranslate): Yo Traduzco • Merecer(todeserve): Yo Merezco • Producir(to produce): Yo Produzco • Obedecer(toobey): Yo Obedezco

  5. Other “yo” forms • There are also some verbs that change in the yo form COMPLETELY. • These are the verbs… Caber, Dar, Saber, and Ver • Caber(tofit in): Yo quepo • Dar(togive): Yo doy • Saber(toknow): Yo sé • Ver(tosee): Yo veyo
