  2. Flatness Checking while clamp condition Job clamp on a plate with A face ,by applied torque 25lbf to torque wrench

  3. Gear housing is rested on datum A and the entire set up is reversed to check between hole flatness in 25 X 25 area on datum A using special flatness gauge with 1 micron plunger dial Datum A rested ,clamped &entire set up reversed on surface plate

  4. Check flatness between holes in 25x25 mm area. With 1 micron dial flatness gauge Shows reading 7-8 microns Shows reading 0-1 microns

  5. Check flatness between holes in 25x25 mm area. With 1 micron dial flatness gauge Shows reading 5-6 microns Shows reading 9-10 microns
