Year 6 Literacy Booster Lessons • Course content has been put together from QCA Implications for Teaching and • Learning from 2004 KS2 SATs. • Persuasive Writing – studying a variety of persuasive texts eg: advertisements, letters, magazine and newspaper articles and from this produce their own piece of lively writing. • Narrative Writing – studying various components of narrative (opening, build-up, dilemma, events and endings) and how these can be achieved. • Report Writing – looking at key features of reports and so enable child to present their own to a chosen audience.
