  8. Face-to-Face Class Setting • On the first day of class, signs of an unprepared student are: • Late • No books • Ask if the class is hard • Ask if the class will be for the full time • Sleep

Online Class Setting • How many of the face to face ‘predictors’ are present? • The same first day emphasis on the class syllabus and procedures needs to be stressed to online students. • How can you promote adherence to the class syllabus and procedures when you are not with the online student?
