  1. Zinc was conceived in 2015, a product of the frustrations of a career in recruitment. Luke, one of the founders had become disenchanted with the state of recruitment. Zinc creates a completely transparent and authenticated identity and work reputation system using the blockchain technology, eliminating many of the inefficiencies associated with hiring.

  2. Blockchain technology is a way of tracking transactions without a central authority. Blockchain technology offers new tools for authentication and authorization in the business world and technology sector that preclude the need for many centralized administrators. •

  3. • It is mostly used in financial and banking system to track the transactions. Moreover it, This technology is also used for human resources. • In the hiring process, Most of the companies verify the information that a candidate provides. Mostly, this is done by checking references and, maybe, educational credentials not the skills; blockchain may provide another option.

  4. • Increasing competition for attention and an unmatched supply of talent meant diminishing results for recruiters. • This drew most to data abuse tactics of spam, misusing others work identities and falsely phishing for leads. • Workers have no control over when their data is available online since it’s owned by the centralised platforms such as LinkedIn/Indeed. Furthermore, they have no incentive or reward to take the time to listen to all the job pitches.

  5. • Luke imagined privacy technology to protect workers data and allow them to own their work identity. An ecosystem in which workers could interact with companies and recruiters fairly was born.. • Zinc uses peer-to-peer proofs and work references to collect skills data and turn proven work histories into a blockchain based CV that belongs to the user, not a third party platform.

  6. • Every worker has a right to own their skills and experience data. Nobody should be tied to centralised platforms. • No worker should be subject to prejudice over age, gender, birthplace or the university they went to. Workers should be judged on their personal attributes and skills. • Workers should be in control of when they interact with companies and recruiters and not be subject to data abuse.

  7. • Zinc will be a decentralised careers network, bringing references and proven skills into a CV.Once you have an Zinc profile, you can control when your profile is visible, removing any ability for unsolicited approaches. • With Zinc login, you can hide the information that can mislead us long enough to make unbiased judgement.
