  3. Kinds of Nouns • _________ Noun- a general name for a person, place, thing, or idea. • _________ nouns are not usually capitalized unless they are at the beginning of the sentence. • Ex. leader, forest, mountain, car, school

  4. Kinds of Nouns • _________ noun- is the name of a particular person, place, thing, or idea. • _________ nouns are always capitalized. • Ex. Mr. Bush, Chevrolet, Mercer County Junior High
