  1. Service Management Series (to perform Work Order Management)

  2. Are you using WennSoft Job Cost today to track your work orders? • Many people will use a job cost system for work orders they call it a small job and it really contains only 2-5 cost codes.  • The downfall to this is: it add too many jobs to the system that have to be closed at month-end prior to running the real month-end close?

  3. Service Management Series makes work order management really easy. • This modules allows the user the visibility to their customer’s information such as their equipment, locations, history of all work orders (both open and closed), and invoicing. Additionally with the maintenance contract modules, they can track preventative maintenance contracts and all billing and revenue recognition for the maintenance contracts.

  4. There is also an automatic generation of all of the work orders to go do maintenance and the ability to bill for additional work that they find while on a maintenance call. • It’s the additional work that you do for all your customers that sets your service company apart from the rest and it’s where you make your bread and butter because the profit margin is generally higher on the additional work.

  5. Down time is critical • Down time is critical so its also imperative that people perform routine maintenance, keep track of it, schedule it, plan it, and be really good at it because they can’t afford to have equipment go down unless it’s a planned outage for maintenance.

  6. Dispatcher Visibility WennSoft Service Management Series makes it very easy for dispatchers for when they are on the phone with a customer to know a lot about the customer just by looking at this first screen.
