Tropical rainforests are rich ecosystems primarily located along the equator in regions such as Africa, South America, and parts of Indonesia. These vibrant forests house a wide variety of flora and fauna, including unique epiphytes that often suffocate their host trees. Key species such as Bengal bamboo, coconut trees, and various animals like the red-eyed tree frog and African forest elephant contribute to a complex food web and energy pyramid. Understanding this delicate balance is crucial for conservation efforts.
