  2. Who We Are • Anfeh.com was launched in February of 2001. It all started as a hobby in web development. Its main purpose was to publish information and pictures about our hometown Anfeh. And the effort progressed into fundraising events and networking among people from Anfeh around the world. A number of people found their ancestry through Anfeh.com and visited their relatives in Anfeh. • ALKOURA LEAGUE, INC. (AKL) was founded in 2006 and incorporated in the state of Massachusetts in the USA, as continuation and expansion of Anfeh.com. AKL is organized exclusively for philanthropic, charitable, cultural, scientific and educational purposes. The main mission of AKL is: • To engage in charitable, and humanitarian activities. • To promote, preserve and support the AlKoura-Lebanese culture, language heritage, traditions, and history. • To support the interests and welfare of the Lebanese community through educational, charitable, philanthropic, social welfare, disaster relief and public relief works.
