Holes Embedded Assessment writing assignment due Friday, January 31st! Objective: I can recognize and analyze the significance of symbolism in a text. Warm Up (in your composition book) Copy today's date and the objective into your comp book. In the back of your Literature book, look up the definition for SYMBOL (red pages) and copy it down into your comp book.

  5. In your Literature book, turn to pg. 500, Gary Soto's The Jacket
