NEWG – Network & Engineering WG

Network engineering group Sohla, Astro-G plan to continue tests and simulations for data post-processing. Close cooperation with Graz for CPF file generation using TLE predictions enables tracking. Stations like WestPac, Reflector, CoROT show low accuracy with TB ±200 ms. During night, 10-50% of passes are trackable. Assistance provided for stations' upgrades in Korea and Metsahovi. Collaborative retro efficiency tests planned in Poznan, 10/2008, show Time Bias +46 ms, Range Bias +384 m with around 90,000 returns.
