What is Service-Learning? Service-Learning isa teaching method under which students learn and develop through active participation in thoughtfully organized service that: • Meets a need in the community; • Relates to each student’s course work; • Involves reflection on the student’s part; • Creates a bridge between the university and the communities around it.
