  2. Purpose & Audience • Your Presentation must have a purpose • Who is your target audience? Produce a five slide presentation about you to present to your peers as a practice

  3. Gather your information • Gather your information and organise your ideas using a story board • Select a layout for your text and content • Enter the information, text, images, sounds and video clips you have gathered

  4. Adding the potion • You can now make your presentation interactive by using action buttons and hyperlinks • Apply slide transitions • Custom Animations • Apply Colour schemes

  5. You can change the slide design You can change the slide layout You can change the background colour From the Format menu

  6. From the Slide Show Menu • From the slide show menu you View Show and also Set Up Show • Custom Animation - you can apply effects to any object, image or text • Slide Transition

Don’t Forget … • Keep it simple and use aspects to create impact – not just because they are there! • Use a master slide to set up the background and common features for each slide. • Remember who your audience are and the main purpose/message of the presentation. • Be consistent with layout, colours, fonts etc.
