BLG 904 test setup Hardware and Software Test • 3 LV EASY Crate running  15 boards  180 channels • 1 HV EASY Crate running  2 boards  12 channels • 20 LV boards tested = 240 channels  2 broken (< 1%) • 2 HV boards tested = 12 channels  OK • Board Temperature went up to 60 °C due to a bad air circulation. Now fixed and temperature around 40 °C • DCS is always running (see Giovanni Talk) • LabVIEW (D. Lomidze) test program is under installation for more than 900 hours P. Paolucci - I.N.F.N. di Napoli

MTCC status • LV hardware is ready for Barrel and Endcap • HV hardware ready for May the 22th • LV LB hardware now at blg 904 • LV EASY crates installation on the balconies started on May the 9th. • Crate insertion in the rack is difficult • No space around the racks • Balcony barrack 3-phase installation is underway P. MTCC status HV multicond. cables • 3 barrel cables are ready and have been tested by myself at CPE • 2 endcap cables are in construction at CPE • They will be sent at CERN on May 12th to be installed on May 22th • Local EASY cables will be ready for May 22th • Service and Control long cables ready on May 22th P. To be done • LV hardware is ready for Barrel and Endcap • HV hardware ready for May the 22th • LV EASY crates installation on the balconies started on May the 9th. • Crate insertion in the rack is difficult • No space around the racks • Balcony barrack 3-phase installation is underway We need 1 MAO channel per wheel (RPC-trigger). To be done for MTCC • Move to RPC condition db on SX5 and test the performance. • Release the CMS_RPCfwHardware Component • Help our Warsaw friends, creating a control and monitoring system of the LB low voltage, and integrate it into the RPC DCS. • Do we want to integrate it in the FSM ?? It will be also discussed tomorrow in the DCS working group. • Test all the system when the hardware will be ready at SX5 (June 06). • Write documentation and organize training in order to have more people ready to take data.
