  2. Introducción • Dolor: • Efectos del tumor • Complicaciones del tratamiento • No relacionado con la enfermedad o el tratamiento.

  3. ENFOQUE PSICOLÓGICO • Respuestas afectivas, cognitivas, y conductuales. • Estudio de 215 pacientes 47% con trastorno psiquiatrico diagnosticado por los criterios de DSM • 85% con depresión y ansiedad • Psicoterapia orientada a crisis • Técnicas cognitivas-conductuales

  4. Medios físicos • Frío • Calor • Ejercicio • Técnicas de estimulación nerviosa • Estimulación eléctrica nerviosa transcutánea • Electroanalgesia espinal transcutánea • Acupuntura

  5. radioterapia • Indicada en dolor óseo • Dolor relacionado a la infiltración tisular

  6. Ablación con radiofrecuencia • Metástasis óseas • Otros sitios metastásicos • Cirugía paliativa
